Here are some tips for writing your goals:
1) Choose a date sometime in the future, say six months away. This is the date for when you want to achieve your goal.
2) Close your eyes, go out into the future, to that date and imagine what it will be like when you have achieved your goal. What will it feel like? What will you see and hear?
3) Now write that down.
4) Write in the present tense, as though you have just achieved the goal eg "It is 4th March 2008 and I have just ..."
5) In order to make the goal as motivating as possible for you, write down how you are feeling. It is your emotions that will motivate you towards success. eg "I am feeling excited and proud of what I have achieved."
